Authorities are investigating a mass stabbing that took place in the Hollow Water First Nation, a remote indigenous community in central Canada. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police announced that the attack resulted in the death of one individual and injuries to six others. The community, home to about 1,000 residents, is located about 217 kilometers (135 miles) from Winnipeg, Manitoba. Police confirmed the death of the suspect in addition to the fatality among the victims.
