Pakistan’s Terror Links Exposed by India: Neighbors Blamed for Failures

New Delhi has sharply criticized Pakistan’s role in fueling regional instability, detailing accusations of state-sponsored terrorism and a penchant for blaming neighbors for domestic failures. India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) systematically dismantled Islamabad’s narrative, asserting that Pakistan actively provides sanctuary to notorious terrorist organizations. Among those named were the Afghan Taliban, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, and the Haqqani Network. The MEA spokesperson stated that it is a habitual practice for Pakistan to shift blame for its internal issues to its neighbors. Furthermore, India expressed concern over Pakistan’s apparent discontent with Afghanistan’s exercise of full territorial sovereignty. This strong stance from India comes amid heightened border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, which have seen significant cross-border clashes. The recent violence, which a temporary ceasefire aims to quell, underscores the volatile relationship exacerbated by mutual accusations of harboring militant groups.
