Furthermore, President Nikos Christodoulides awarded PM Modi the Grand Cross of the Order of Makarios III, Cyprus’s highest honor, during a ceremony at the Presidential Palace. The award signifies outstanding service to the nation. PM Modi expressed his appreciation, emphasizing the honor’s connection to shared values between India and Cyprus. The visit, the first by an Indian PM in over two decades, also featured interactions with the Indian community and business leaders in the region.
