After resigning from his position, Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has departed Kathmandu. His departure was facilitated by a military helicopter, the location to which he traveled is currently unknown. The resignation comes amidst widespread protests that have caused significant casualties, with 19 reported deaths and over 300 people injured. Protesters have also seized control of the Prime Minister’s official residence, Baluwatar.
