Quetta, Pakistan, was struck by a powerful blast on Tuesday, leading to a tragic outcome of at least six deaths and injuries to 19 individuals. In response to the devastation, the Balochistan Health Department initiated an emergency protocol across the city’s hospitals. Gunfire erupted immediately after the explosion, contributing to a state of panic and disorder. The blast’s impact was significant, causing damage to surrounding structures, including shattered windows in nearby residences. All available medical personnel, including consultants, doctors, pharmacists, nurses, and paramedical staff, were instructed to be present for duty in hospitals. Injured individuals were initially taken to the Civil Hospital’s Accident and Emergency Department before being moved to the Trauma Centre for medical attention. Footage from social media showed the blast occurring near the FC Balochistan’s security facility.
