Rahul Gandhi is standing in front to contest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Lok Sabha elections starting from April in the country. Rahul Gandhi has invested in 25 shares, which also include ITC Limited and Hindustan Unilever.
Rahul Gandhi has also invested in small and mid cap stocks like Tube Investments of India, which have been witnessing bumper growth for some time. Rahul Gandhi has stake in a total of 25 stocks, due to which the value of his portfolio has increased to more than Rs 4.30 crore as of March 15.
Investment in mutual funds decreased
On March 15, Rahul Gandhi’s stock portfolio had reached $5.299 lakh. Mutual funds also have a major share in Rahul Gandhi’s portfolio and it has reached Rs 3.8 crore. Five years ago, Rahul Gandhi’s total wealth was Rs 15.1 crore, which has now crossed Rs 20.4 crore.
While contesting the last Lok Sabha elections, Rahul Gandhi had not made any investment in shares. At the time of last elections, his investment in mutual funds was Rs 5.4 crore, which has now come down to Rs 3.81 crore.
Investment in SGB and PPF also
Rahul Gandhi’s top stake in smallcap Suprajit Engineering is 4,068 shares, worth over Rs 16.65 lakh. Rahul Gandhi also has shares in Bajaj Finance and Asian Paints. Rahul Gandhi has invested Rs 15.27 lakh in Sovereign Gold Bond (SGB) and Rs 61.52 lakh in PPF account.
