A cancer vaccine developed by the FMBA of Russia has completed preclinical trials, showcasing both safety and effectiveness. The vaccine, designed to target colorectal cancer, resulted in notable decreases in tumor size and extended survival times in clinical studies. Veronika Skvortsova, head of the FMBA, reported this progress at the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF). The agency is also working on vaccines for glioblastoma and melanoma. The Eastern Economic Forum, held in Vladivostok, focused on fostering cooperation for peace and prosperity in the Far East.
