On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared photographs of his interactions with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping during the SCO Summit in Tianjin. The pictures were posted before the start of the plenary session. Modi’s post on X read, “Interactions in Tianjin continue! Exchanging perspectives with President Putin and President Xi during the SCO Summit.” The interactions included warm greetings and hugs between Modi and Putin. The two leaders were also seen walking together towards Xi and sharing brief comments before the plenary session. Following this, they participated in a family photo with other SCO members. A bilateral meeting between Modi and Putin was planned after the plenary session. Furthermore, Modi and Xi Jinping held bilateral talks, where they welcomed the progress in their bilateral relations since their meeting at the BRICS Summit in October 2024.
