According to the BSE website, the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will also remain open for trading on the occasion of Janmashtami. At the same time, the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) will also trade normally in both the morning and evening sessions tomorrow.

According to the Reserve Bank of India’s (RBI) annual bank holiday list, banks will remain closed in many cities on August 26 due to the festival. Tomorrow banks will remain closed in Gujarat, Odisha, Chandigarh, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rajasthan, Jammu, Srinagar, Uttar Pradesh, Bengal, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Meghalaya and Himachal Pradesh.
