Son hits his father’s Fortuner with a Safari, 5 people injured

A video of a collision between a Fortuner SUV and a Safari has emerged from Thane in Maharashtra. Bindeshwar Sharma, a resident of Ambarnath, hit his father’s Fortuner with his Safari car at around 5 pm on Tuesday evening. 5 people were injured in this accident. 2 of them are fighting for their lives in the hospital. The accused’s father Satish Sharma is a retired officer from the Defense Department. He had come to Ambarnath in Thane to resolve the dispute between his son and daughter-in-law.

The absconding accused also had a dispute with his father. Police said Satish, who lives in Mumbai, had gone to Ambarnath in Thane with his wife and younger son and driver on Tuesday to resolve the dispute.

When they reached Bindeshwar’s house, he was not there. After pacifying the daughter-in-law, they were returning to Mumbai when this incident happened. When they reached near a 7-star hotel in Ambarnath, they saw Bindeshwar coming fast in his Safari from behind. His father’s driver, thinking that Bindeshwar wanted to talk to his family, parked the car on the side and got out of the SUV.

Bindeshwar still did not stop the car and overtook the parked car, hit the driver and dragged him for about 100 feet. After this, he took a U-turn to hit his father’s SUV from the front. The collision was so severe that his father’s SUV went about 10 feet away in reverse and collided with a parked bike. His father’s driver and the person sitting behind the bike are in critical condition.
