Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with the murder of a Gujarati woman in South Carolina. The victim, Kiran Ben Patel, was shot dead on September 16th. The suspect, Zaedan Mack Hill, was taken into custody after a standoff. The incident took place at DD’s Food Mart, where Patel was working at the time of the shooting. Patel, 49, had been a resident of South Carolina for more than 20 years. She was shot while counting cash before closing her store for the night. The suspect reportedly fired multiple shots at the victim, even after she attempted to flee the store. This tragic event has prompted investigations into the circumstances surrounding the shooting and potential motives.
