Texas’s Governor declared Sunday a Day of Prayer. In Kerr County, over 20 girls from Camp Mystic, a summer camp, are missing after the river nearby surged rapidly. Authorities have rescued or evacuated hundreds of people by various means, including helicopters. The US Coast Guard has been instrumental in saving or assisting 223 lives. The President is focused on deploying federal aid. Governor Greg Abbott announced that search and rescue teams are working until every missing person is accounted for.
