In this case, many doctors including former principal of the medical college Sandeep Ghosh have also come under the radar of CBI. Four doctors of Raji Kar Medical College and Hospital have been called for questioning by the CBI’s Special Crime Branch at CGO Complex in Salt Lake, Kolkata. CBI will question these PGT (PG trainee doctors) regarding what happened on the night of the incident.

Let us tell you that on 9 August 2024, the body of a female doctor was found in the seminar hall of RG Kar Hospital in Kolkata. Since then, resident doctors have been demanding justice for the victim in the case. A 31-year-old postgraduate resident doctor posted on duty at the government RG Kar Medical College and Hospital was allegedly sexually assaulted and murdered on the night of 8 August. Officials recovered the half-naked body of the second-year student in the seminar hall of the Chest Medicine Department, which had several injury marks. At the same time, a shocking revelation has been made in the post-mortem report.
