New Delhi. There is an uproar on social media over Congress spokesperson Supriya Shrinet’s comment on Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut being given BJP ticket from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. On one hand Supriya has given her clarification in the matter, while on the other hand BJP has demanded immediate dismissal of the Congress spokesperson. Along with this, the National Commission for Women is going to write a letter to the Election Commission on the derogatory post of Supriya Shrinet. Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut has been critical towards Congress and Rahul Gandhi for years. Therefore, as soon as she got the BJP ticket from her home town Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, the Congressmen, including Supriya Shrinet and other Congressmen and Congress supported people, expressed their anger on social media. The first comment was seen in Supriya Shrinet’s Insta account, in which she had written, ‘What is the situation in the market, someone will tell.’

People’s reaction immediately started coming to this objectionable comment. After about 3 hours and 7000 likes, Supriya realized that something had gone wrong with her account, after which she deleted the post and issued her clarification. He said that many people have access to my Facebook and Insta accounts. One of these people had posted a very disgusting and objectionable post today. As soon as I came to know about this, I removed that post.

He said that whoever knows me, knows very well that I do not make personal remarks about any woman. It has come to my knowledge that this post was earlier running on a parody account (@Supriyaparody). Someone picked up this post from here and posted it on my account. I am trying to identify the person who did this. Also, the parody account created by misusing my name has also been reported in X.
Many people have access to my Facebook and Instagram accounts. One of these people had posted a very disgusting and objectionable post today.

Not only Supriya Shrinet but Mrinal Pandey, who was the editor of Congress mouthpiece ‘National Herald’, has also made indecent remarks against Kangana Ranaut. He posted on his X that ‘Maybe this is how we get the right rate in the market?’ There was a strong reaction from people on this also, after which he deleted his post. Mrinal Pandey has not only taken a dig at Kangana Ranaut getting ticket from BJP but also Arun Govil being given ticket from Meerut through a poem.
