The deadline for the social media platform TikTok to continue operations in the US has been postponed by US President Donald Trump, now set for December 16th. This adjustment comes as discussions between American and Chinese officials progress, aiming to solidify the terms of an agreement disclosed on Monday. On Tuesday, Trump signed a fourth executive order, further delaying the deadline for TikTok, which is linked to China. The order requires TikTok to either sell its US assets to an American entity or face a ban, bypassing federal law. The original deadline was initially January 19th.
