In the wake of US strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities, Donald Trump has suggested a potential ‘regime change’ in the country. Posting on Truth Social, Trump pondered whether a change in leadership was necessary to ‘Make Iran Great Again.’ He also lauded the US military for their ‘hard and accurate’ hits on the nuclear sites. The military operation, dubbed ‘Operation Midnight Hammer,’ targeted key Iranian nuclear facilities, including Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth confirmed the success of the operation, stating that the strikes were intended to cripple Iran’s nuclear program. Despite the military action, Hegseth clarified that the operation was not about regime change.
