Former US President Donald Trump declared that Iran will not possess nuclear weapons and downplayed the possibility of regime change. Speaking to reporters on Air Force One, Trump asserted that Iran is not currently prioritizing nuclear development and would instead flourish as a trading nation, leveraging its oil resources. Prior to this statement, Trump had used Truth Social to encourage Israel to adhere to the ceasefire agreement. He described a scenario where Israeli jets would turn back while offering a ‘friendly plane wave’ to Iran. Furthermore, he issued a strong warning to Israel against any actions that would violate the ceasefire, stating such actions would be considered a major violation.
