During a recent statement, Donald Trump defended his use of tariffs, labeling them as his ‘most beautiful word.’ He claimed that the US was previously exploited by other nations, but that his policies have created a fairer system. He openly expressed his affection for tariffs, calling them his favorite word, and suggested that they are making the US wealthy. He mentioned the large amount of money coming in, which, he said, is something the US has never seen before. He previously announced a 100% tariff on foreign-made movies, claiming that America’s film industry had been ‘stolen’ by companies abroad. Also, Trump announced a plan to implement a 100% tariff on specific pharmaceutical products, effective October 1, 2025, if companies fail to manufacture them in the US.
