A large-scale Russian air raid, marked by 477 drones and 60 missiles, has been labeled the most lethal of the war, resulting in significant casualties and destruction in Ukraine. Among the casualties was a Ukrainian F-16 pilot, Maksym Ustymenko, who reportedly shot down several Russian aerial targets before being killed in action. The Ukrainian military reported that they intercepted a significant number of incoming projectiles. Civilian areas and infrastructure in multiple regions, including Cherkasy and Ivano-Frankivsk, suffered damage.
