President Trump and President Putin are set to meet on August 15th to discuss the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. At the same time, Ukraine’s military actions have intensified, potentially reducing the likelihood of a peaceful resolution. Ukraine has been regularly launching long-range drone strikes against Russian military and industrial facilities to disrupt Moscow’s ability to sustain the war. A recent attack targeted an industrial factory in Saratov, Russia, resulting in one fatality and significant damage to the building. The regional governor reported that a drone also hit a residential building, prompting the evacuation of residents to temporary shelters. A Kremlin-linked Telegram channel reported damage to the building’s exterior and several parked cars.
