US Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent, in a recent interview, offered a hopeful perspective on the future of trade relations between the two countries.
Speaking about the ongoing tariff issues, Bessent expressed optimism, stating, “I believe India, as the world’s largest democracy, and the US, as the largest economy, will eventually find common ground.” He also commented on the progress of a potential trade deal.
