President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has declared that Russia only understands the “language of force,” which should be the dominant approach in all international interactions in the coming months. He is determined to ensure the success of the June summits, including the G7 Summit in Canada and the NATO Summit in the Netherlands. Zelenskyy stated that Ukraine is actively working to make these summits substantive. Discussions and negotiations are planned in Ukraine in the coming weeks. The President also addressed the failed prisoner exchange with Russia, blaming Moscow for the setback and vowing to continue efforts to bring Ukrainian POWs home and recover fallen soldiers. Zelenskyy accused Russia of attempting to turn the situation into a political maneuver.
