President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has called for a resolute approach to Russia, asserting that the country only understands the “language of force.” He highlighted the importance of this approach in all international engagements in the coming months. Zelenskyy is focused on ensuring the success of the G7 Summit in Canada and the NATO Summit in the Netherlands. He confirmed that important meetings and negotiations will take place in Ukraine in the coming weeks. Zelenskyy also addressed the failed prisoner exchange between Russia and Ukraine, blaming Russia for the breakdown and accusing them of playing a ‘dirty political and information game.’ He affirmed Ukraine’s dedication to securing the release of Ukrainian prisoners of war and the return of fallen soldiers. The G7 Summit is scheduled to be held in Canada, and Prime Minister Modi has received an invitation to attend.
